pattern include 5 years of primary school, three years of middle
school, two years of secondary school and two years of higher secondary
school. This makes it twelve years of schooling. It is usually at
higher secondary level that students start specializing in subjects.
After the successful completion of higher secondary school, students
are qualified to enter universities and technical institutes. The
state governments have their own school systems and are guided by
the central government. There is a greater interest in international
schools and several have been set up conforming to the norms of
the country’s education system. They form excellent training

of law, medicine, engineering, commerce and many more.
